SIMStation Update Guide

Please Review the Following Requirements

Regular software updates help ensure that your SIMStation system remains secure, stable, and equipped with the latest features and improvements. To ensure a smooth and efficient update process, please review the following requirements and preparation steps before your scheduled update appointment.

Before the Update

Please make sure that:

Your SIMStation system has access to the internet (either the full system or at least one computer, such as the Control Station).

All computers and tablets within the SIMStation environment are powered on.

All peripheral devices – cameras, video encoders, speakers, microphones – are connected and operational.

No simulation sessions, trainings, or exams are scheduled on the day of the update. This helps ensure sufficient time for testing and troubleshooting if required.

SIMStation Go Systems

If you are using a SIMStation Go system, please make sure the system is connected to the internet before the update.

During the Update

We kindly ask that a member of your team is available during the first hour of the update appointment.

This allows us to quickly resolve any issues should we encounter devices that are unreachable or require local assistance.

After the Update

Once the update has been completed, our team will perform a remote system verification to ensure all components are functioning correctly.

Following the verification, we kindly ask you to confirm that your system is operating as expected by checking the following items:

Cameras are functioning correctly.

Audio devices are operational.

Recording and playback work as expected.

All system functions perform normally.
